Mobile Operations RN Manager – Job Code #1992
As a Mobile Operations RN Manager, you will supervise RN staff and be able to perform clinical procedures related to whole blood collections. Develop Mobile Audit program and conduct audits including HIPAA compliance and equipment to ensure compliance with SOP’s and appropriate regulations. Work with Quality Assurance staff to develop, revise and review SOP’s to meet state, federal and AABB guidelines. Ensure proper training and documentation of all Mobile Operations staff including annual competencies.

As a RN-Supervisor you will oversee the on-site collection team at mobile blood drives, work with a professional and highly motivated crew and collect blood from healthy donors. You will supervise the set up for mobile collection sites and ensure the accuracy and quality of screening procedures. Ability to identify donor reactions and perform appropriate interventions. Previous blood collection experience is helpful.
Current CA RN License and CPR certification required. Excellent supervisory skills. Must have valid CA Driver’s License, excellent DMV record and proof of auto insurance. LVN – APHERESIS COLLECTION SPECIALIST – Job Code # 1993
Responsible for accurate blood donor selection and follow through related to deficiencies in the screening procedures. Acts as a productive team member to support the collection of platelet apheresis products. Utilizes applicable aseptic techniques to plan, perform, and chart automated plateletpheresis procedures. Ability to perform white blood cell collections will be required. Includes set-up, run, quality control, troubleshooting and routine maintenance. Conduct and review quality control of collection equipment.
Current LVN License and CPR certification required. Minimum of two years phlebotomy and clinical experience required. Donor Room experience a plus. Must have excellent customer service skills and committed to the customer. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must.
