Maric College, a member of the Kaplan Higher Education Corporation family of schools and a division of the Washington Post, is currently seeking Nursing Instructors for the Vocational Nursing program at its North Hollywood, CA campus.
Maric College, North Hollywood Campus (formerly Modern Technology College) was established in 1982, has a diverse population of 750 - 800 adult learners, and was selected as the Kaplan Higher Education Corporation "College of the Year" in 2000 and again in 2006. The college specializes in healthcare career training and operates the largest program of Radiologic Studies in the nation.
Candidates for the Nursing Instructor positions must possess the following minimum qualifications:
* Possess or be eligible for a California license as a Registered Nurse, and
* Have a minimum of two years experience as an RN or LVN within the last five years, and
* Possess strong communication and organizational skills, and
* Possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school, or
* Possess a valid teaching credential, or
* Have a minimum of one year of full time teaching experience in an RN/VN/PT school within the last five years.
Compensation includes a starting salary of up to $35/hour depending on experience, medical, dental, and life insurance benefits, contributory 401K, paid holidays, vacations, and sick leave, company sponsored educational reimbursement, and other incentives.
