Chief Nursing Officer
CareOne/HealthBridge Management is a privately held growing regional LTC/Sub-acute/Rehab company that employs over 13,000 healthcare professionals in 10 states. We are seeking a strong senior clinical leader to 'direct' all Clinical/Nursing services for the company. The role requires strong leadership and educational skills.
Overall responsibility for the design, development and implementation of systems and processes to provide and improve clinical services for a Short Term Rehabilitation, Long Term Care and Assisted Living Cooperation based in New Jersey. Responsibilities include developing the vision and goals, implementing plans and performance standards to facilitate the delivery of high quality, cost effective clinical services.
Skills :
Team leadership, ability to identify customer needs and respond with appropriate HR plan, strategic outlook, stakeholder relationship building skills, highly effective interpersonal relationship skills and customer service skills, computer skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Provide oversight and management of clinical care processes in accordance with Long Term Care Federal Regulations, multi-state Long Term Care Licensure Regulations, Life Safety Regulations, JCAHO Standards, OSHA Standard and CDC Guidelines
Maintain compliance with regulations governing hospitals and the rules of accrediting bodies by monitoring operations and initiating changes where required.
Work collaboratively with all departments of the corporation to design safe processes within the organization.
Facilitate and coordinate the analysis of core processes to identify opportunities for improvement in clinical processes and service delivery.
Interact with Regional Clinical Services V.P / Directors to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs, services, policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with Human Resources staff to develop recruitment and retention strategies for staff and managers; provide executive leadership to clinical leaders.
Assist in the preparation of departmental budgets and allocation of funds based upon reviews of department estimates/recommendations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
·Manages all Vice Presidents/Directors and subordinate supervisors who have the responsibilities of Nursing Services, Ancillary Clinical Services, Quality Management/Risk Management, Nursing Administration, Administrative Services.
·Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Requirements:
Masters degree in Nursing.
Ten years of progressive experience in nursing and patient care management with proven ability as a competent administrator.
Responsible for a multi-site environment, either at regional or corporate level.
