Statement of Purpose/Summary of Major Essential Functions:
The Supervisor is responsible and accountable for assisting the Chief Clinical Officer, in the management of that unit's assigned staff and patient population. Must be clinically knowledgeable and will perform the duties of the staff OR and Dialysis R.N.; collaborates with physicians in executing the medical plan of care. Demonstrates competency in caring for patients of specific ages as designated in unit structure standards.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Must have 1 year management in OR.
Graduate of an approved Operating Room certificate program (Preferred)
Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute for education requirements.
Management / supervisory experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
RN license in state of practice
Current BCLS
Current ACLS
