On Assignment is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to complete a 13 week contract in the OR within an Outpatient Surgery Center in the Southern part of Dallas. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience within the Operating Room Suite.
Candidate will be responsible in assisting the OR Techs and Physicians in direct patient care, assist the Clinical Director and team leader in daily functioning of the OR in accordance with establish guidelines and regulations and be a mentor to other members of the team on providing effective and efficient patient care.
Surgeries primarily focus in Ortho and Pain Management with some Podiatry, Plastics, ENT and GI.
Candidate must have a current Texas RN License, Current ACLS and current CPR / BLS as well as minimum of 3 years of experience in the OR Suite as an OR RN.
Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 6:30am to 3pm with Tuesdays off, no call and no weekend hours.
