Registered Nurses for our new High Desert Crisis Stabilization Center in Victorville Opening 9/11/07
*** F/T and P/T, PM Shifts (3-11:30pm) AVAILABLE***
Unique opportunity to work creatively with consumers coming from institutions who need your support to fulfill their hopes and dreams. Work with dedicated mental health professionals in an organization that supports staff and consumers in reaching their full potential.
The RN provides services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician as well as screening to incoming patients. The RN provides documentation to the Treatment Team of response to treatment and notifies all parties of clinical changes of condition.
Qualifications/Requirements:
v Licensure as an RN by the State of California.
v Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
v Psychiatric experience preferred.
v A valid CPR Certificate is also required.
v One year experience in direct provision of psychiatric nursing services and/or one year experience in psychiatry, preferably with chronic mentally ill preferred.
v Necessary skills include the ability to work with members with multiple disabilities.
v Applicant must be finger printed, sign under penalty of perjury that there has been no conviction of any crime, other than minor traffic offenses, and receive clearance from the D.O.J.
