A centrally located Tertiary Healthcare provider is seeking highly qualified and experienced Nurse Managers to join them.


Job Description:

NURSE MANAGERS – WARD/ICU URGENTLY OPENING!!


The successful applicants’ main duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:


•Projects manpower and staff-patient ratio to meet changing demands•Takes charge of the smooth and cost-effective running of the department•Raise capex yearly by projecting for the purchase of additional or new equipments to cater for higher patient load and replace those which are worn out•Organizes and directs ward meetings on a regular basis to disseminate information and to gather feedback and suggestion from the staff for the purpose of promoting better teamwork and improvement in the quality of care•Plans and supervises the orientation programme and provides guidance for practical experiences of the new staff in her department•Identifies key performance indicator (KPI) relevant to that department and audit staff to assess conformity. Review and identify new KPI to improve nursing




To be successful for this role you must be a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, of which a minimum of 2 years should have been spent as a Nursing Manager.


In addition you will hold a post-basic qualification in a relevant nursing speciality, and a Degree in Nursing.


We are seeking applicants with good oral and written communication abilities, exceptional interpersonal and management skills, and an analytical nature.
