Job Description

Parklands Rehabilitation & Nursing, a 120-bed SNF located in Gainesville, is seeking a RN Unit Manager to join their quality nursing team!


As a RN Unit Manager you will be responsible for the coordination of administrative, clincial and supervisory functions for a defined resident population within the designated Nursing Unit.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a Licensed Nurse (RN) in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state licensure requirements or in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a Licensed Nurse


• 3+ years of clinical experience in a comparable environment

• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care.


* Ability to operate autonomously and exercise independent judgment

* Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills

* Strong organizational skills

* Skill in accuracy and attention to detail

* Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and priorities to achieve desired goals

* Maintain confidentiality and integrity of position

* Nursing management experience highly desirable
